Standards

VHF standards consist of 180 hours of tutor led tuition. This translates into 14 weekends spread over a period of two years. This number of hours includes the agreed BCH crystal training standards and core curriculum. VHF tutors must also meet the criteria concerning teaching standards. It is in order to protect the public, practitioners as well as the reputation of this valuable complementary therapy that the above-mentioned standards have been set.

Crystals can be powerful tools which is why it is essential that those who use them for healing purposes have had adequate training in order to do so in a safe, responsible, knowledgeable and effective manner. Apart from standard practical subjects, the training involves much work on subtle levels.

Crystal healers must have a thorough understanding of the Human Energy Field, be able to perceive various systems within this field as well as assess any form of imbalance or blockages within these systems. They must also be able to act as an effective channel for the benefit of their clients, which required in-depth healer training, intuition and self-development.

Competent crystal healers are also highly proficient in using appropriate crystals to help clear blockages or correct imbalances in the Human Energy Field, which calls for in-depth knowledge, understanding and practical experience of the energies of the Mineral Kingdom. Apart from training, study and supervised practice, it takes time to develop and integrate these skills. This is the main reason why crystal healing diploma courses by correspondence or shorter courses are not recognised by the BCH, CHF and VHF.

Accreditation and Standards

VHF is a founder member of the Crystal & Healing Federation (CHF), an umbrella organisation for crystal healing schools, which in turn is a member of the Complementary Medical Association (CMA). VHF Diploma Courses are fully recognised by both organisations as well as The Association of Registered Complementary Heath Therapists of Ireland ARCHTI.

The CHF is a non-profit making organisation that provides, amongst other, an international support network for crystal healing schools, their students and graduates. CHF is also a founder member of the British Crystal Healers (BCH), the lead body representing crystal healing standards in the UK as recognised by the General Regulatory Council for Complimentary Therapies (GRCCT).

VHF graduates can apply for CHF healer membership and be included on the CHF register. In addition, graduates can apply to be on the GRCCT National Register in the UK and can also apply for membership with ARCHTI.
