An Introduction to Crystals & Healing
A one day workshop, introducing the student to crystals, their many uses in daily life as well as in healing, meditation and intuitive work. The day will include how to choose, care for and tune crystals, exploring their uses for daily life, self-healing and healing others. How to clear, earth and strengthen the human energy field, basic healing techniques, energy sensing exercises, and an in introduction to at least 15 different crystals will also be part of the day. Students will have ample opportunity to practice and experience what is discussed 

A Workshop for Carers
This day is specifically designed for those who are in the caring professions such as nurses, therapists, counsellors, social workers or anyone involved in working with many people and who, due to their work, often feel unwell themselves. A look at the human energy field and what may occur when we interact with our clients. How to clear, strengthen and protect your energy field and how to recognise and deal with any imbalance before it manifests as physical illness. Self-healing and energising exercises also form part of the day

An Energy Awareness Day
This day is for those of you who work with many people, or in an office environment, and who may at times suffer from a variety of conditions or symptoms such as: feeling drained; harassed; frustrated etc. The main aims of this day are to provide participants with an understanding of subtle energies and the ability to recognise and deal with an imbalance on these levels. You will be given an insight and practical experience on how to take care of yourself on the subtle levels and thereby function and feel better/more energised in daily life. 

An Insight Into Angels
Angels have always been an integral part of humanity in light as well as shadow. In this time of change and upheaval, the interest in these beings of light has greatly increased. The Angelic Realms consist of many levels, each playing its part in the great universal plan. Are angels a different species from us like divas and nature spirits or were they once human? Are they part of the makeup of this world of duality (there being naughty angels as well!) or are they powerful interior archetypes representing the messenger of the higher self? On this day we will explore various aspects of the angel kingdom and also how one can attune to these energies for help, healing and guidance. The workshop is for both beginners and those who have already experience in the field of healing or related subjects.

Mending the Healer's Wound
It is a well-known fact that many healers find it easier to give out and help others than to nurture themselves. More often than not, the urge to care and heal, stems from a deep inner wound through which the necessary quality of compassion has been activated. Usually this wound in the heart centre has been healed, having served its purpose, however, often scarring remains. Equally in this present stage of evolution the focus is very much on the heart centre, since we are moving towards a higher awareness and from ego into group consciousness. This process is not all that easy since it means moving from fear to love and the whole of humanity is involved! Most healers are actively going through this process in the need to be able to channel increasingly higher frequencies of energy.

On this day we will address the heart chakra, how we can heal any residues or old scarring as well as link to these faster energies, accommodate them within our being as well as channel them for the benefit of the whole. This day is for those who are already training or working in the field of crystal and/or spiritual healing.

Bridging the Gap
Working within hospitals, clinics or approaching GP’s is not always that easy and the VHF diploma course does not cover this aspect of healing in-depth. Since healing is slowly but surely becoming more and more recognised, to the point that the NHS has published a directory for complementary medicine practitioners, VHF feels it is time to offer guidelines for practising Crystal Healers who intend to approach and work within conventional medicine centres and institutions with confidence, professionalism and safety.

Apart from offering help and support to patients, it is also important to promote healing in a professional and effective manner. This workshop will cover a number of topics that are helpful to healers who are starting to bridge the gap between conventional and complementary medicine. It also counts towards CPD.

Drugs and the Subtle Energies
In this day and age, the use/abuse of both prescribed and controlled drugs is common practice. The effects of this on the individual can be so subtle as to produce changes in life patterns that can appear normal or even inspiring. On the other hand long-term drug use/abuse can have a devastating, lasting effect upon the subtle energy field of the individual.

This is a workshop for healers who would like to be able to recognise the effects that drugs can have on the energy systems within the auric field. A look at the history of Humanity's involvement with drugs, the effects of drugs on the subtle energy systems, a look at addictive patterns and how to start clearing these and how to conduct healing work on those severely affected by drugs will form part of the subjects on the day. A look at healing tools, such as crystals and Bach Remedies in relation to patterns of abuse will also be covered.
